Eye to electronic eye with new ID cards
UKPS biometric enrollment trials are underway in London and Glasgow, with others in Leicester and Newcastle to follow. The Home Office wants 10,000 volunteers to “investigate the practicalities” of enrollment, and promise that all information gathered will be destroyed when the trials end in August.
